Rathowen Daffodils
Rathowen DaffodilsFl. 30 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, fairly prominently mucronate, pure white, strongly reflexed, plane, glistening, somewhat creased, overlapping half; the inner segments a little twisted, or with margins wavy; corona cylindrical, very lightly ribbed, opening pale lilac pink, becoming pure white, with mouth expanded and even, rim minutely notched.
Part of the Duncan “Family and Friends” Series. This daffodil was named in honor of American Daffodil Society President and good friend Mary Lou Gripshover.
